My latest discovery is Nicholas Simmons, let me introduce him to you.
He paints in watercolor and the precision he is able to reach som times is remarcable for the media.
On the other hand, the beauty of his paintings is not in the precision of the reproduction but in his capacity of communicating so much with so little means.
I am not sure if this does make sense or not but my experience is that watercolor is very demanding, imprecise and unforgiving with any mistakes
His La Vida Breve painting is superb. So full of pasion, with all the tension that Flamenco is. This is art!
