Drago Dosen is a Bosniac painter living in Auckland, New Zeeland.
He had exhibitions in Europe since 1975 and his first New Zeeland Exhibition was in 1996.
His translucent, immaterial creations are floating midway between real and imaginary.
You can see a bit of art deco in some of them which I don’t appreciate very much but most of the time his works are excellent.
Browsing his website, I have discovered watercolor and ink paintings having this fairytale look, sweet in the colors but gloomy in shapes.
